Wildlife Encounter, located in Livingstone, Zambia, is an active conservation programme that is dedicated to ensuring a secure future for the magnificent African lion species. As an active conservation programme, Wildlife Encounter offers guests the unique and privileged opportunity to come closer than ever to two of Africa’s most iconic species, the African Lion and the White Rhino. Wildlife Encounter also offers various volunteer programmes, in which you are able to stay for an extended period and take part in conservation efforts. These programmes can be tailor made to suit your needs. Our community and conservation projects provide both manpower and material support to some of the schools, clinics, clubs and communities in our local areas.


Whether you want to contribute to the welfare and rehabilitation of our lions, conduct research on wildlife within the Park, or dedicate your time to our education and community projects, you can volunteer with us at Wildlife Encounter. We offer both short term and long term volunteering options.
